Had a yellow middle
Time to switch colours in fear of painting the entire house grey. So Yellow it is.
Since my parents gave me my grandad's cabinet, I've been dragging it from house to house for years. It's really heavy, dark wood, but I just love the glass doors. Or more specifically the blue Stain glass pieces. It's just so simple - I love it.
I tried Leyland - self mix Transparent & Kingcup paint first, but this had a really crap finish. It felt and looked like poster paint.
So take two, Dulux for wood & metal (Satinwood) - Earth Glaze and it's working pretty well.
A bit of shameless advertising - My mum and I started an upholstery business a few years back. If you have any furniture that needs a bit of TLC or you're looking for something specific give us a call. Any excuse to go to auction is good by us!
We have loads of pieces already in stock waiting to be customised to your tastes at our countryside workshop in the Derbyshire Peak district.

But in our tiny one room cottage it looks like a black hole, so, time for some yellow to brighten up a wintery mood.

(spot the reflection- a very pregnant me hanging out in Luis' boxer shorts as they're the only comfy thing I can fit into.)
